Former basketball superstar Michael Jordan had his happiest moment with son Marcus as he led his team to victory Saturday in Illinois.

The Seattle Times reports:

“Marcus Jordan, son of the Bulls’ six-time champion, scored a game-high 19 points to lead Chicago Whitney Young to a 69-66 victory over Waukegan in the Illinois Class 4A championship Saturday”.

“As Marcus Jordan and his teammates celebrated on the court after the final buzzer, Michael Jordan stood quietly, clapping his hands with tears in his eyes”.

Marcus sunk in four points out of four attempts in the final quarter of the game. The young Jordan played down the stretch as two of his team mates fouled out.

Michael Jordan is part owner of Charlotte Bobcats, an active member of the NBA basketball league. During his son’s championship game, the basketball legend had to skip his team’s loss to Indiana to be with is son for the occasion.

Jordan has another son, Jeff Jordan, who also plays basketball for the University of Illinois.

Michael Jordan is a retired American professional basketball player and part owner of Charlotte Bobcats and an active member of the NBA Basketball Club. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 17, 1963. After high school, Jordan earned a college scholarship at the University of North Carolina where he majored in cultural geography.

Jordan played for North Carolina for three years and then joins the 1984 NBA draft where he was selected by Chicago Bulls as the third overall pick. In 1986, Jordan returned to North Carolina to finish his college degree.

Michael Jordan had a very colorful basketball career. He was a six time NBA Champion, a five time NBA MVP, and NBA All-Stars awardee, among others. During his professional basketball career, Jordan received at least $30 million in salaries per season. A big chunk of his income comes from product endorsements

Aside from Marcus and Jeff, Jordan has a daughter named Jasmine all from his previous marriage to Juanita Vanoy that ended in a divorce in 2006.

Michael Jordan is currently active in business being part-owner of Charlotte Bobcats, a major team in the NBA league.
