Barely two weeks before his scheduled fight with Shane Mosley, the undefeated Floyd Mayweather, Jr. says, "I Am the Face of Boxing and I am Here to Clean it Up", obviously referring to his demand for mandatory urine and blood tests for boxers.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is one proud world champion. Being undefeated in his entire boxing career, he has every right to say he is the best.

Obviously referring to his demand for mandatory blood and urine testing for boxers, he said in a statement published by " I Am the Face of Boxing and I am Here to Clean it Up"

Mayweather is an undefeated American professional boxer who retired two years ago with an unblemished professional boxing record. He returned to boxing after a two-year hiatus and started out with popular Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez for the continuation of his short-lived retirement.

He won convincingly over Marquez but he paid a price for the extra weight he carried with him inside the ring. Boxing experts believe that Mayweather purposely maintained a heavier weight when he faced Marquez than what was required by the boxing regulating body and opted to pay the penalty as required in order to gain an added advantage over the lighter Marquez.

Boxing fans are saying that Floyd Mayweather is not an entertaining boxer and call him 'boring' inside the ring. But boxing fans do not appreciate that Mayweather is a defensive fighter and it seems normal for a boxer like him to be less active offensively in the ring in contrast with stance of Pacquiao who is a known as an offensive fighter.

On the 'boring' comments by fans: 'It's not my fault that I am so much better that the fighters I am facing. It's always so one-sided. They want to see me fight on a toe-to-toe battle. I am just a smart and intelligent fighter'., he said in a statement on

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is set to collide with Shane Mosley on May 1 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Boxing fans eagerly await the outcome of the highly talked about match with the winner possibly earning a shot at the seven division world champion Manny Pacquiao later this year.
