Mexican Boxer Vows to Avenge Pacquiao Wins by beating Melligen

Filipino boxer Mark Jason Melligen squares of with Norberto Gonzales of Mexico in a 10-round welterweight match to be held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, Saturday night.
Mexican professional boxer Norberto Gonzales vowed to avenge Manny Pacquiao wins over popular Mexican boxers like Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Juan Diaz by beating Filipino southpaw, Mark Jason Melligen on Saturday night.
 
These Mexican boxers have been knocked down and beaten by the popular Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao.
 
ABS-CBN reports:
Gonzales said he considers this fight as a "war" between Mexico and the Philippines mainly because Filipino pound-for-pound boxer Manny Pacquiao has defeated and knocked down most of Mexican boxers. Gonzales is confident he will be able to avenge the losses of his fellow Mexican boxers. "First of all, I got to beat him ‘cause Philippines and Mexico is a war," said Gonzales.
Melligen and trainer Tony Martin confidently accepted Gonzales' challenge as they too are ready for a face-off at the main event. The Filipino boxer has a professional record of 17 wins against two losses while Gonzales, the Mexican boxer has a professional record of 18 wins and a loss.
 
The fight will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday night
